From Eenhana to All of Namibia: The VanTele Story

VanTele did not start in a boardroom in Windhoek. It started in Eenhana, in the Ohangwena Region, with a simple observation: Namibians are brilliant traders, but the internet was not built for us.

The problem we saw every day. A woman in Okongo weaves baskets that people in Windhoek would love to buy, but she has no way to reach them. A man in Rundu wants to order a phone, but paying a stranger on social media means praying the parcel arrives. A student in Oshakati needs a safe ride home at night, and a family in Outapi wants to send goods to relatives without handing them to a random driver at the rank.

So we built the platform ourselves. VanTele Marketplace lets any Namibian open a free online shop, with every payment held safely by VanTele until the buyer confirms delivery. VanTele Mobility connects 54 towns with verified, permitted drivers for rides, inter-town seats and tracked parcels. VanTele AI answers questions in English, Afrikaans and Oshiwambo, day and night.

Built for Namibian conditions. Everything works on a budget phone and thin data. Fares round to N$5 because that is how cash works here. Bookings will even work from a feature phone with no internet at all. Our Local Agents help sellers who have never touched a smartphone get their goods online.

Where we are going. Every region, every town, every trader. When you buy, sell or ride with VanTele, the money stays in Namibia and builds Namibian technology. That is the whole idea.

Karibu. Welcome to VanTele.
