Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about buying and selling safely on VanTele, Namibia's escrow-protected marketplace.

On VanTele Marketplace, yes: your payment is held in escrow by VanTele and the seller is only paid after your order is delivered and confirmed with your secret delivery code. Sellers are ID-verified, reviews come only from real buyers, and disputes are resolved with evidence. The pay-a-stranger-and-hope risk of social media selling does not exist here.

You pay VanTele (via DPO Pay), not the seller. The money is held safely while your order travels with a VanTele driver, tracked live. When you confirm delivery with your 4-digit code, the seller is paid. If something is wrong, you open a dispute and the money stays frozen until it is resolved.

Create a free shop at vantele.com.na. Listings cost nothing, and you pay only a small commission when you actually sell (3.5% to start, falling to 2% as your rating grows). No smartphone? An ID-verified VanTele Local Agent in your town can register you and manage your shop with you.

Yes. VanTele listings can carry wholesale prices from a set quantity, and business buyers can request a quote on any quantity. The seller replies with an offer, and accepting it creates an escrow-protected order with a VAT-ready invoice showing both companies' details.

Orders travel with verified VanTele Mobility drivers across 46 Namibian towns, tracked live with a VTM code. Only the recipient's secret 4-digit code can complete a delivery, so parcels reach the right hands, provably.

Your money is still in escrow, and the seller has not been paid. Open a dispute with your evidence; the VanTele team reviews the tracking history and delivery code and refunds you if the order did not arrive as promised.

A trained, ID-verified VanTele representative in your town who helps sellers without smartphones get online by registering them, photographing products and managing orders. Agents earn 30% of VanTele's commission on every sale they facilitate. Apply at vantele.com.na/agents/apply.
