Applicant privacy notice

What we collect

Your name, email address, WhatsApp number and town; your institution, field and year of study; your CV, motivation letter and answers to the application questions; whether the internship is for university credit, and your availability. We do not ask about religion, ethnicity, health or any similar personal characteristic, and we only accept applications from people aged 18 or older.

Why we use it

Only to assess your application, contact you about it, and, if you are offered a place, to prepare your internship. Every applicant in an intake is scored on the same criteria and answers the same questions.

Who can see it

Only the VanTele staff running the intake and the supervisor for the role. Your CV and letter are stored privately and are never published. We do not sell or share applicant information.

How long we keep it

If you are not selected, we remove your personal information 12 months after the decision. We keep only anonymous numbers (for example, how many people applied for each role).

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your application at any time by writing to info@vantele.com.na with your reference (it starts with VTI). Deleting it withdraws your application.
